GENERAL INFORMATION

1.         Reservations

At Mahoe you are free to drop in anytime you like to use the restaurant or bar area. However, you may not get the table or area that you prefer or, in peak periods, may have to wait for a table or area to become available. In addition, every now and again we allow requests for exclusive use of the whole venue for corporate functions or private parties, and during that time other customers aren’t able to use the venue. So if you are planning a special occasion at Mahoe, please call in advance at least to check availability of the date and time.

If your party is a group of 8 or more, it is much better for you to make a reservation in advance. Depending on the proposed time and the nature of your reservation, a deposit may be required.

2.        Deposit

If you have paid a deposit, we will hold the table or area for you until the time of your booking.

In non-peak periods we may allow up to 30 minutes’ grace period in case you are running late. In peak periods we cannot guarantee a grace period at all, although we will try to hold your table for up to 10 minutes beyond your scheduled arrival time. All grace periods at any time are in the discretion of our management. Beyond any grace period, the deposit is forfeited.

3.        Service Charge

For tables/parties of 8 persons or more a discretionary service charge of 10% is added to each bill.  For parties of fewer than 8 persons, any tip or gratuity is entirely at your discretion.

Service charges, tips and gratuities are distributed among the staff according to a system that is monitored by the staff.
