Our People

The café-bar is the brain child of Vanessa. She wanted to create a place in London that had a vibrant bar and memorable food, atmosphere and music that was inspired by the spirit, spices and significance of Caribbean food, drink and lifestyle. It’s her first venture into entrepreneurship- she used to be a lawyer in the City. Vanessa proves that there’s nothing as compelling as the passion for something new and different that you believe in. 

Brandon is our Manager- he leads the team and keeps everything in line, supported by Urmilla the kitchen manager and her team including Ann-marie, Michael and Lollie; plus there is Fabio our bar supervisor and Elena the woman in command of the floor plus the team of floor and bar staff.

Then there are loads of other people who support and assist but they are too many to name here- they know who they are, and we hope we say “thank you” even half as much as we should.
