Mahoe is Caribbean-Creole inspired bistro-bar situated on Bow Lane in the City, opposite exit 4 of Mansion House tube station. It is open 7 days a week. Its menu provides a fresh modern take on Caribbean-Creole food and the bar serves tropical cocktails, an impressive selection of rums plus wines, champagnes, spirits & beers. Signature dishes include French-Creole styled swordfish with a The bar signature is a remarkable rum punch, “Reggae Rum Punch”. There are also puddings, teas, the prestigious Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee and a specially designed liqueur (“Xamaica”) using the coffee with rum. Mahoe caters for regular all-day dining, corporate events and private functions, and promotes "happy hour" and bar-combo offers for evening customers Monday to Saturday. The venue is perfect for takeover for exclusive events at available times and special packages are curently available for corporate functions, including a Summer Party Package. One Saturday evening per month there is a Caribbean Carnival style event dubbed “Blow Out!”, which involves mingling, eating and dancing. The dates are announced here on the website. A new Sunday Lunch menu is now available from noon to 4:30pm. In addition, the venue offers occasional live music and entertainment, Wi-Fi and a small al fresco dining area. Tucked away in a trendy basement location and with a soundtrack including jazz, reggae and salsa and with its warm, elegant and modern décor, Mahoe attracts an assorted collection of local City high-flyers, tourists and hungry or thirsty fun-seeking Londoners. |
